I have a rainy day build goal of 350hp for my beater 2.8l CRD/ sales vehicle.

That's a reasonable goal if you can limit torque!Buddy has a tuned liberty that has a shudder at peak torque.I think its the torque converter slipping while locked up.Tuner dude supposedly limits torque to avoid this.

I'd ditch that smallish gt2056v and almost suggest the same turbo's that I run,gt2052w and Super hx30w.I don't know if the "mini cp3" can be swapped out for the the bigger cp3.

Why did they cancel the TMR deal at silver willow last year? Will it ever be back? I believe i checked out your rig there a couple years back.
 
Not sure exactly why that got cancelled.It did start out as a tuff truck event before the racing as you probably know.We did add a new race location in Minden so that could be itI think that the tuff truck guys stopped showing up after the racing started.That whole silver willow venue really took a nose dive.
 
Originally the buggy was a 1986 long wheel base Suzuki Samurai.All thats left now is part of the frame rails and the brake booster/pedal.It has a 106.5" wheelbase.I have a mastercraft 3g seat for myself.5 point harness for me and passenger.Head and heck restaint as per our racing rules.The cage is built mostly from 1 3/4" .120" wall DOM.

The chev kingpin dana 60 up front has tmr truss,Reid knuckes with TMR bronze upper bushings.Home made high steer arms that are keyed into the knuckle.The steering arms are similar to the ones TMR makes.TMR diff cover,Welded differential with 4.10's and 1350 forged yoke.Yukon shafts and superjoints.TMR drive flange kit.

Rear 14 bolt has TMR truss/pinion guard,welded differential 4.10 and 1350 forged yoke.Both driveshafts use spicer slip yokes and spicer life joints.TMR 15 bolt shave kit/cover with machined ring gear.

Brakes are the 1/2 ton chev kit from TMR with old cast iron chev master cylinder and suzuki brake booster.The engine has a decent vaccum pump that can keep up.

2.5x10x1.5 double ended steering cylinder from surplus center.PSC CBR pump (non billet),230cc/14.1 steering orbital valve with a round heat sink type cooler.Also I have a PSC check valve between the pump outlet and the orbital to prevent feedback.

Rear suspension is dual triangulated 4 link,Front is triangulated 4 link.all heims are 3/4" and hanging in there so far.14" ORI stx struts on front and rear.3" radflow bump stops on the front that have been modded to 2" travel.

Chev NP205 has a ford 32 spline front output and forged 1350 yokes.Shift rails were modded to twin stick.JB fab shift rail detent kit.The input is upgraded from north west fab as I have the NWF Titan blockbox (doubler).
