Manual to auto swap issues

So I'm trying to figure out a few issues after I swapped my 98 to a 47re from a 97. First of all none of my gauges work, the odometer flashes, the trans seems to shift softer than I would expect with a valvebody meant for 850hp... and if I hit my lockup switch it won't unlock until I cycle the key off and back on... I'm kinda lost here and hoping one of the gurus has some insight on this

It will not work with the 98. You need a 98 auto pcm.

The pcm is the issue. 98 was first year of ccd to the cluster for gauge control. Get the correct pcm and it will be fine.
