Why do I dislike these pumps? (1st pic)

Remeber when I said there was something else you could do for a fitting, but didn't suggest it in Zukgod's post?? Well, you hit the nail on the head. Drill and tap the pump. The only thing is, that the fuel gallery in a VP is not that large in the first place, plus the one I saw, the pump casing eventually cracked.
