I'd go with the 83 turbine, I know the big power guys run the 96 but are turning big rpms and 13mm pumps or larger. Going from a s300 66mm similar to your silver bullet to a s400 66mm with the 83 turbine was a big difference in spool and power, alot slower to lite.

If you get serious you ought to get your pump turned into a 13mm, this is from a drag truck but made the biggest difference over any other upgrade I've done. Would lite big turbos alot easier and believe it or not ran cleaner on the street when I used to drive it still. Running a 13mm pump cut back to 550cc's compared to a maxed out 12mm at 550cc's was a huge difference. I used northeast diesel for the pump work and have nothing but good to say about them.

Thanks Jason.
Do you know how much it set you back to have it turned into a 13mm pump?

So is a 96mm a lot harder to spool than a 83?

96 is absolutely harder to spool, like with you setup not at all. Start with the 83 with the .90 housing would be my opinion. I had about 3k in my pump but it was only a core I started with. Be careful buying a used pump if you go that route.
