Hey Dually, have you mesured new ConRod bolt size?

According to CQ( Cummins Quickserve) the bolt P/N is different, but is the bolt size same ?


I can mesure new style con rod, but I do not have old style conrod

Are those fracture split rods?? If they are, I think the bolts are an oddball 11mm, but my memory is a bit fuzzy!

BTW, pics for the other thread are on the camera

Yes they are the 'fracture cap' or 'cracked cap' rods....

From top to down

Cummins NT-855 - 465 hp
Chevy LT1 (350cid) - 265hp
Cummins 6BTAM3 - 370hp (so called marine370 piston)

I think thats what Im going to try and go with for my motor build up Im fixin to do. Any tips on where to fond those 370 pistons at or a full rebuild kit.

08 F-350 King Ranch, 6.4, H&S. EGR and DPF delete, 5" exhaust and THAT'S IT! Well, aside from wheels/ tires and a leveling kit. Tired of broken crap.
