Yes quad cab short bed. I'll have to find a picture. But it bolts in between the frame above the axle. I welded square nuts to the inside of the box tubing. Then drilled 1inch holes in the frame for the 1inch grade 8 bolts. This allows the assembly to swing up and down if I need to adjust hitch height.

Most of the rule books say the hitch can't be in front of the centerline of the rear axle, until u get into the 3.0 and mod classes I think are different.

Here's rules from one of the local Orgs.

. Hitch must be of a solid construction and rigid in all direction, draw bar style permitted. Hook point must have a 3 ½ inch diameter hole. Hook point cannot be more than 26 inches from the ground, and cannot extend more than 6 inches under the truck. Centerline of rear axle to hook point must be a minimum of 25 percent of vehicles wheelbase. Hitch may not extend farther forward then the centerline of the rear axle. .

cumminsPOWER, looks awesome.

not strictly pulling, but this was for the tow rig, the hitch is about 8 inches in, from where it was before.

trailer plug and an "Anderson" connector for winch/trailer power.

Only thing I would be worried about is when you start going to the side. Seems like it would try and bend the main tube some between the side rails and where you added the V brace.

The stock cross tube does bend if pulling with them. Not all of them but with enough power and with the truck hooking up pretty good it can bend.

I knew the tube would bend and guess he did too thus the V brace. I was thinking the section between the brace and the side.
