Valair street dual disc loud rattle?? - Competition Diesel.Com

I've had my valair DD in my 2011 for not quite a year and I've always wondered if the rattle at idle is normal? It's when the Trans in neutral just idling. Kinda sounds like a big pissed off blender. Sounds like a normal dd when the clutch is engaged and Performs flawlessly. Just loud. Any ideas?

Totally normal. The G56s are the loudest. Do a search for G56 gear rollover

yea, my zf6 is very loud at idle, ive got a valair in mine

Mines a South Bend 3250. All DD are loud. Mostly in the G56. Sucks but they hold the power. Delvac Mobile 50 or Gorilla juice will help with the sound a little bit. Or just make sure and keep your trans and TC fluid fresh also.

Thanks for the replies, I was just curious enough to ask. I can't fault the holding power just sounds like I'm makin margaritas lol
