Lmm tuner wont reload original back up

It started the process correctly, stored original back up then went to download 100hp tune and said it couldn't write the tune. Then I tried to restore the original back up and it won't. Why?
 
Thank you for responding quickly this morning. This is a predator. Never did see anything of an error message. Are you referring to something like "no communication with ECM"? Or along those lines? I initially plugged it in to clear a code for a glow plug that we replaced, then preceded to load the 100hp tune. It stored the original back up then tried the tune but it said unable to tune vehicle- or something to that affect. Look forward to your input. Thank you.
 
Newer tools will generally give a 'more info' option or a specific error message with a numerical designation....if possible, give our tech guys a call with the tool powered up in the truck so we can try to sort it out.

Problem solved! My father in law called and the guys got it straightened out. Thanks again for the response.
