We put more bracing in the back half then we needed for a Pro Street Chassis, but adding support for the sled pull was the end goal. The bolt in Hitch will basically put all the sled pulling load on the rear axle and OEM frame, but we wanted the back half strong enough in case if finds some of the load.

Awesome, as anticipated. Just curious why, in general, is it that when a build like this happens do they always seem to start with a clean virgin truck? I mean everything is going to be rebuilt/modified anyway, and the body is even going to be cut/replaced s well. Just seems to me that with that considered, why not save a bit off the top by starting with a "farm truck" or something like that, high miles, rust, minor body damage?

This one was in need of an overhaul, had broken rings on number six. Original intent wasn't full fiberglass but we got a little carried away lol

Ok, just curious. Definitely makes more sense to me to do that.

We went to the engine dyno on Jan 18th so we focused our attention on getting the triple Exergy 12mm cp3s plumbed and fabricated along with the Triple Turbo setup and the rest of the fuel system. Aeromotive supplied a single 360GPH lift pump that proved to be very capable of supporting our 2000HP goal. We also tried to utilize a prototype billet rail with 3 fuel supply ports, but ended up cracking one of the thread on fittings when tightening down the lines, so we used the dual rail setup that Exergy recommended and bent all our own lines.

Drew @ D&J machined this air horn plenum to fit our 3rd cp3 and clear the injection line that is a tight fit with any of the other aftermarket intake horns with his stage 3 head with the raised intake ports.

Looking great guys with the right team your making quick work of that build. :rockwoot:

See you all soon for some break in time and tuning on your dyno!

Chris

Smaller rail is a duramax I would presume, but do you know what application the larger rail is from?

We went to Paul Marlett's Engine Dyno, great facility and would recommend the experience to anyone. We collected a lot of valuable data that certainly helped come to the race track and go fast right out of the box.

Air temps on both sides of the intercooler during a 1616HP pull.

We did a manifold turbo change after 4 pulls, the turbine wheel shows how hot we were running without water injection. Going bigger on the manifold charger, lowered boost 15psi and gained 10HP throughout the run and lowered EGTs. Overall we gained a wealth of knowledge in two days that would have taken most of the summer to figure out when combining the variables of a new chassis and tuning a new engine platform.

Incredible build and a surprise pleasure that you are willing to share it with us. Congrats and looking forward to seeing more in the future.

So seeing the pic of all the goodies it looked to be 500% over injectors at least.... now when you say hot, how hot we're your egts with those charged air temps.
