Miss after 3 minutes of runtime

so here's the deal. new engine, northeast diesel 13mm with 6x18's, starts and runs great. after a few minutes i bring the rpm's up alittle and acts like it drops a cylinder. checked valve lash again and right on. seems to smooth out higher in rpm band, and driving it is better but still sounds alittle rougher than it should. wide open down the track, runs great with all sorts of power.
is free reving the engine with no load causing it to act funny?

From what i know, that sounds normal. I have a customer with one and it does the samething. He even ask the same question. Try not to free rev it.

I have the same setup 13mm pump with 6x18s and it does the same thing. Also lopes when in gear. I dont worry about it. Runs great down the track.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

Free revs are for gassers and Harleys. Stop that nonsense.
