The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series is headed to Somerset, Kentucky, this Saturday, September 8 at 7pm EST. Classes to run include Hot Farm Tractors, Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Pro Farm Tractors and Pro Street Diesel Trucks (2.6). (This is not class order).
“The pullers are going to be surprised at the track. We have added 38 truckloads of new red clay, mixed with some sand, to the track,” said event promoter Tyler McGowan. “The track was known for having a lot of rock, but that has all been covered up with the new dirt. It will be a power track.”
Tyler McGowan is promoting this event as a fundraiser for the Southwestern High School’s FFA in Somerset.
