66/71/13 turbo on a 12 valve

i have 1996 dodge Cummings custom mega cab with auto trans and 354 gears with 35 tire
370 injectors , pump work , 19 deg timing,4k kit,
I need to replace my stock turbo with a bigger one to cool down my egt
i have a new high tech 66/71/13 that i had bought for my 06 mega but not sure how it will work on my 12 valve ? not sure if it will spool ?

Sounds too big. You want to put an appropriately sized turbo or else your egts will be high again due to not being able to fully spool it.

I think you'll hate it with the auto, 3.54's, 35's, and altitude

I can't see where he is but what is his alltitude? I had a 66 on mine with almost the same setup, except the pump was still stock, and I loved it.

I had a 66/71/16SS on my 96, Auto, 4.10 gears, with 31" tires "dually". With the right converter it drove great, I never minded a little lag, but if I was going to do it all again I would go with a 63/68 T4 charger.

Why not put the 66 on the 06 and use the 351 on the 12valve?

I'd be mad at myself if I couldn't muster more than 400 on a 66.

No doubt. I did 535 with a 62/71 with 5x14's, stock DV'S, stock lift pump and OFV, and 18* timing
