Can i un participate of threads ?

Is there a way to hide certain threads that i have posted in before?
I have four very active threads that i hate seeing at the top of my replies (pc) or participated (tapatalk app).

As far as I know, all you can do is "unsubscribe" to threads you don't want to receive e-mail notifications for.

I figured that one out but these are ones that im not "subscribed" too, just participated in or replied too.
Thanks guys, i didn't think there was a way but just checking.
