Well the wide tooth idea didn't work, same issue. It reads around 1000rpm at idle then drops to zero.

Guessing that the ECM just wants to see the original tooth(window) count.

At least it charges.

Thanks for the help everyone

Side note on this Allen headbolts, they ideally need a smaller OD washer between the valve covers so the valve cover seal sits flush on the head.

All this is assuming my cam sensor is good - I may try another one to verify.
