It looked like you could watch the bed pull away from the cab as he loaded the converter and the frame flexed! Crazy! Good job man, that truck is sweet!

we leave the line at 2600 to 2800rpm and it shifts at 3800rpm. the pump will turn over 5000rpm's.

well we took her to steele al last weekend to do some more testing. after unloading it, we pulled to the line and it would not spool at all. to look back after the last pass in holt we loaded it on the trailer and came home . it sat in the shop for 2 weeks then when to steele. tried play with wastegate with no luck. after checking tranny fluid it smelled burnt i load it and went home. we pulled the tranny out monday and found all the clutchs were gone. not one had any meat left on them. send the converter back to suncoast to have it checked out and they said it still looked good inside. now we had a new converter, all new clutchs and a better valve body. just got it all put back together tonight and will be putting the tranny in tomorrow. suncoast said they dont know how it ran so good in holt. i guess it was just luck. we will be ready for IHRA Thunder Jam on April 4.

Good to hear you got the truck back together Rich, can't wait to see what it will do with the fresh tranny and turbo.

3 tranny, 1 ring&pinion, and 1 driveshaft in the broke pile. we lost 1 tranny at indy and 1 more at Pro diesel race in N.C. Dusty at HTS helped us out with a tranny and it works great. we broke a pinion and bent the driveshaft friday night after it putting down a 1.501 60ft. will going to Steele this weekend to do more testing. we are trying some new rear gears.
