Time to throw out the s467.7 turbo choices?

About to order the 369. I am leaning twords a .88 or .80 over the .91 ar. The power up top is close v.s. spool up time on the .80. It lights about 3 seconds faster .

I already have a t4 divided by stainless, should that factor in on my a/r choice for spool up on twin scroll or Not? Or do I have to stay divided?

If I can gain a lot of driveability and only sacrifice say 15 up wouldn't you for your DD?

Stay with the divided .91 over the open .88. I don't have any experience with the .80, is it undivided?

You will loose spool up and drivability with the .88 open scroll. Definitely the .91 turbine housing.

Define driveability!

I have a 369 with the .91 t4. I can get 15psi by 1600rpm if I play with it. Stay with the .91. It drives absolutely great. I put down 825 at the tires last time I was on the dyno. I also have a customer with a 369 with the 1.0 and only 60% injectors in the 775 range.

Thanks for the assurance guys. That is what I was looking for
That truck made 825 with DDP 220's?

Man that's great! That tells me I'll be just under 800 as well with my sticks for now. And with way less lag around town.

I've said it once and I'll say it again.... the sxe turbine flows A TON and with the 1.0 you need serious heat to stay on top of it.

I should update my sig, my current injectors are BD 100% over nozzles. They only flow about 80% over stock on the flow bench. But yes I put down 825 with these nozzles. I had put down 772 with the DDP's, and that was on a mustang dyno that's reeeal stingy.

i have a 3rd gen sxe 369 with a 91 t4 housing hx40 flange i will be selling,let me know if you interested,thanks

It flows a lot of exhaust. You will not need serious heat to stay on top of it. We sell a lot of 1.0 housings to guys who bought the .91 and want to cool their trucks off. Very little difference in driveability with a common rail.

please explain.

I'm talking to push the charger into peak power.

Here's perspective.

In my setup and experience using the 1.0 it flowed so much that peak power would suffer and the turbos would make 55psi boost, and 45psi drive while doing a highway roll. This wasn't full throttle, but the 1.0 was significantly faster at cooling egts and the drive pressure did suffer. The sweet spot per se was around 1,250 degrees to light them up.... then cools and boost falls because the exhaust is cooler aswell. Talking struggle to keep that heat and your boost will suffer unless your trying to spin high rpms.

I'd comfortably run the .91 any day of the week for best of both world's In a single, or compound.

I wouldn't necessarily call ~ 35lb/min "A TON", but it is roughly 2lb/min more than the T4 0.91AR, and the plural of RPM is RPM.

I do run a 45mm gate with my setup as well. 369sxe with a .91 and a 45mm gate. Seems to do the trick for 4500rpm or so.
