Valver retainers - Competition Diesel.Com

Do I NEED to replace or upgrade my stock retainers while installing 110# valve springs? I have a 4K gov spring kit but was curious if better quality retainers are actually needed. Truck is just a daily driver that will not see 4K rpm very often.

I bought new keepers and had them cryo treated. Cheap insurance.
