Thanks Dale.
Any comments or concerns you have? Or anyone else for that matter?
Want to get the rules as clear cut as we can make em so everyone will be able to have fun.

Weight and wheel base are the two biggest concerns i have seen for the 2.6 guys. Dont wanny make it to where a guy cant bring a 2wd off the street and pull if he feels like it.

Will have a set of rules printed up by this weekend. Pretty much what was discussed there were only 2 of us..lol we rode together.

As for your questions t case is legal . Tire size will be pretty much open for now. (Not gonna go over 36" tall myself.) Must be DOT approved tire.

As far as chassis rule. must be a full size truck. Solid suspention is legal.
Pretty much in a nutshell. You can find a Pro 2wd gas chassis drop a diesel in it and come play.

The weight will start out at 7200 and if it needs to be changed later on after we gain some intrest then so be it.
Still trying to make it so a 2wd off the street can hook as well as to not limit the class.

Thats what i have so far. Rods was with me so he may chime in and add a little.

Lynn

Also a cubic inch limit was discussed.
It will be 409 cid on any I-6 Engine (6.7 liter max)
And 446 on any V-8 Engine (7.3 liter max)

Adam thats the reson we left the weight subject to change. Would 7500 be better?

Also yes the t case will be used for gear reduction only. Trans and t case must be oem for a 1 ton or less truck.

yeah 7500 would be better wieghed 7100 with full interior and 15gl of fuel on a cclb 2wd

IMO i woudl just stay 8000 gives one more tuning ability in weight movement.

i havent looked at the 2wd gas class rule at all... guesing your pulling hte wieght sugestion from there?

Cool now I have something to work towards. Do we have to stay steel body parts or can we run fiberglass?

so basically the rules are going to be based on KTPA's 5800lb ProStock 2wd and KOTTPA's 5500lb ProStreet 2wd classes? Only difference would be the engine rules, right? If so, then those of you interested can find the rules for the 5500lb ProStreet class at http://www.kottpa.com. Didn't find any rules on KTPA's site, but both are pretty similar

Should b close Kevin wants it to b like that but there are some things we need to discuss one major thing is W/B there's a reason why they have that. Might do a hitch % depending on W/B dunno we'll discuss it more
