Any info on if there is any bolt on exhaust kits for these things, from the downpipe back, or is it still a make it on your own market?

Havent heard of anything yet. I think Jon (oldest) was working on a new pipe to completely get rid of the DEF, though.

I contacted the Mandrel Systems about it. They told me no for the diesel, but that may have just been some government mandated response.

So I installed the mandrel kit, I had to fab up an autozone special pipe to replace the SCR and go up to the 3" size. I got the do it yourself kit without the muffler in the 3" flavor. Had to weld up two hangers but other that that pretty straight forward and had it done in about 3 hours. Car sounds good and with the deletes it drives like a whole different animal.

Oh no....that will not do. No way in hell do I want my Cruze sounding like an old 12 valve Cummins where everyone hears you coming from miles away. Maybe the muffler would make a big difference? Not sure what the Magnaflow one sounds like.
I like that you found the gasser exhaust works, though. Thanks for that. Most people wouldnt have tried it in the first place, even though its logical it would fit.
I wonder if oldest figured out a "test pipe" for the SCR yet? Id love to see a pic of what you came up with from Vatozone, though.
I'm finding that by and large, people who own these arent really into modding these cars like we truck guys are.

fwiw, I had a Magnaflow cat back system on a V6 S10 I had a while back. It was surprisingly quiet for a straight through muffler. It also didn't get any louder over the four years I had it.

Might as well install a 8" exhaust tip.

The video makes it sound terrible, it honestly doesn't sound that bad or is that loud in person.
