On my 2006, stock just an edge (2006 vintage). I get random harsh cutting out/sputtering under acceleration, worse under higher tunes, worse with more throttle.
Replaced the FCA today. Thought that fixed it but issue came back. Seems to happen more often on a low tank but does it full also. After replacing FCA truck is hitting (I think) full rail pressure now. Used to rarely max out the stock map sensor @41 psi on the edge, now will do it on interstate no problem. But still will randomly cut out sometimes. Restarting makes no difference.
It's not throwing any codes, gonna throw a boost gauge on it and not from the looks of it a rail pressure gauge too since the old ass edge wont show it and I'm lost on this issue.
Was gonna pull the tank this weekend see if theres **** in it. (Had sand before from old underground fuel tanks at farm, now thinking maybe grass getting sucked into the pickup?
Read it could be a stuck injector too, which I may have had once when the truck got water in the fuel a couple winters back, but doesnt miss or anything just cuts out hard, I roll into it I can feel its not getting full fuel pressure or it completely cuts out.
