Wheels that look good on a 2nd gen

Looking for a set of wheels that look good on a 2nd gen. I'm going to need some new tires in the near future and I was thinking of changing the wheels out as well.

This is what I have now. This pic is from early fall 07, so truck is a little different with some Bushwacker flares on it and also the fender liners are back in there. Just got it back from the bedliner place when I took that pic.... Oh and it's clean too... was the last time I washed it actually

I like the 3rd gens on a 2nd. I think the 3rd gen dodge wheels look great.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite.. Seeing them in a catalog doesn't help me out at all.. But I'm very happy with what I have now.. It's had stockers. Atlas 16" wheels. 17" 3rd gen aluminum wheels and now these Halo Max8's.. The 3rd gen wheels are fine on a stock truck. But it looked ridiculous with my flares on it. I ended up taking my flares off for a few months just to run those wheels.

I lowerd mine with 33x12.5's and have a slight rub at full lock. 35's will fit stock depending on you wheel backspacing.

I personally like the 3rd gen aluminum wheels or something with a pretty good offset on the 2nd gens.

my 16x8' had 4.5" backspacing and did not rub running 315/75/16's (stock control arms). These ones are 325/60/20's (35's and almost 13" wide) on a 10" wheel and barely rub the plastic at the rear when shoving a tire up and turning. But I also have 1/2" forward DT control arms now.

and btw, 18's with this style of wheel is pushing it. I definitely don't like this design on a 16" wheel. Size seems to really help this design.

Don;t like the 3rd gen wheels.

No on Classic 2s. They look ok on older 70s/80s rigs... but not newer stuff.

Here are te two sets I have on my 2nd gen. They first are Centerlines that they don't make anymore, but Weld has some that are almost identicle and the second pic is some chrome H2 wheels.
