Press Release for Pull at LaGrange today (9-20-14)

As the Howes Lube/Battle of the Bluegrass Series (BOB Series) heads into the final events for 2014, Lagrange, Kentucky will be a pressure point for many of the top drivers, in their quest for a championship. “2014 is the Road to Belterra, as our annual awards banquet will take place at Belterra, and that is where our Howes Lube/BOB Series champions will be crowned,” said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “A lot of things can happen between now and Elizabethtown, so every driver will be focused in gaining as many points as possible.”

The points battles in some classes may already be set, but in Hot Farm it is a battle between Lamary and Levi Thomas, and their ‘Wives Competition’ and Lagrange native, Allen Powell and his ‘Case of Chaos’. The pull in Shepherdsville gave an even larger lead to the Thomas team, as they won the event, and Allen Powell went out of bounds, so you can bet Powell will have his game on when he hits the track in Lagrange this Saturday.”

The pull in Lagrange will take place this Saturday at the Oldham County Fairgrounds in Lagrange, at 7:30pm. Classes to run include Hot Farm Tractors, 11,000 and 13,000 Farm Stock Tractors, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Work Stock Diesel Trucks and Pro Street Diesel Trucks.

This event is sponsored by Howes Lube, Bubba-burger, MoonPie, Belterra Casino Resort, Brownings Country Ham, Faygo Soda, Rip It Energy Fuel and River City Truck Parts
