rolling while in gear

If I park going up hill and I leave my truck in first gear. After say a minute or two. It will roll back about a ft. Set there then it will roll again after a minute or two..so what maybe the. Problem?

The compression is taking a minute or two to escape the cylinder then it rolls onto compression again, leaks out, rolls, compresses again, leaks out....

So I'm losing compression. I never had that happen before. Yes already use the block trick because my e brake don't work.

So should I worry about this rolling besides using a block to stop the tire?

Your fine, no cylinder will hold pressure forever, slowly leaks out when it rolls over pumps up again.

What tire size? Bigger are harder for the engine to hold back.

I'm running 33 x12.5 x 16 on it now. Just was curious. I know I got a tappet cover leaking like a stuck hog. Qaurt a day.

I just never had a truck roll then stop then roll and stop. It was always roll. Lol
