The 2014 season will mark the 10th Anniversary of the NHRDA and we are proud to announce that we will be kicking off the season at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield California.

Date - March 22nd, 2014
Location - Bakersfield, California

Featuring -
Diesel Drag Racing
Sled Pulling
Dyno Competition
Show N Shine Contests
and the crowd favorite Burnout Contest.

Its pretty obvious that i could air ship my team to there door step and they wouldent answer! I think im just gonna put my truck on display in the NHRA museum...

Many of you know I had to leave racing because of a lung disease called pulmonary fibrosis two years ago. It took all that time to go through the screening process for a lung transplant at the University of Washington. I was placed on the transplant list April 8th of this year. I was so fortunate to receive the gift of a transplant November 4th. The somber part of all this is that a family has lost a loved one for me to receive this gift of life.

Enough people know about this so I might as well let the cat out of the bag. The bad news for all you Sportsman racers, IF I am strong enough I will be at the Bakersfield race in March.

Jim,
if I make it there I will put the DirtyMax on jobs on hold and would be more than happy to help you swap tires before and after the race.
 
I practiced drinking last night, with a few refreshers here and there I think I will be able to have a drink or six
