14mm main block - Thread Sizes

Anyone one know off hand what thread sizes the .....
-14mm main bolts
-12mm head bolts

im guessing....
M12x1.5 or m12x1.75
m14x1.5 or m14x1.75

Let me know.

The 12mm arp main studs are a 1.5 pitch. So i would imagine the 14mm would be the same.

well i need facts before i order a $50 bottom tap. ill just wait and check it when i get home. thanks for the info.

Ryan, I've got a set of bottoming taps on most sizes for metric. If you're down this way you can borrow them.

All the bolts I've seen in the B-series are coarse metric (exception being flywheel/balancer bolts), so M14x2.00 is the coarse pitch. That being said, I haven't opened up my old 12v engine, so this is just more hearsay.

14mm main is 14mm x 2.00 bottoming tap.

thanks for the offer but if i got them id never get them back to you. got 4 blocks here so may as well buy them.
