cruise control help!!

couple years ago i swaped my 98 12v to a 5 speed (out of a 99)... and im finally ready to have my cruise control back!!

I've messed with it all day and can't figure out what is wrong... i've checked all the vaccum stuff and its good.... Is there something you need to do with the electrical to get it to work?

any help would be great, in a couple days i'm goin to be headed to denver and would really like to have cruise control for the trip!!

thanx

I think that you need to change the PCM. I'm not positive tho

PCM may be the culprit. It is different for manual and auto.

skip out on the cruise, it surges on any hills etc, modded 12v's are just a little too touchy on the pedal. i never use the cruise in my truck and have just learned to hold the pedal steady

^^ I agree.

Is it lighting up at all like it is engaged and not working or just not turning on at all?
