Thumping motion when stopping and accelerating

Hey guys I have been trying to track down where this thumping motion could be coming from. All the tie rods and steering and been changed, box and all the linkages moog conversion into t style steering. Control arms are new from moog, new motor and trans mounts. When I step on the brakes to come to a stop if feels like the truck has a shift of weight on something that is loose I have played under the truck for about 4 hours in total to figure out where it could be happening no luck. When i take off from a stop it does it again but going the opposite way of course. The driveshaft is tight. I'm thinking it could be inside the transmission has anyone had this problem. If you have had this problem what was the fix.
One more thing it does it in neutral also.

Converter clutch?
 
Yes i have a 2 piece driveshaft. The center bearing is still good i just changed it a couple of month ago (2 or 3 one I'm on since owning the truck) since August of last year.

Bet ya it's bad. I had a brand new Mopar center bearing last one day. And like you changed them out.

Got tired after the 3rd one lasted one day, changed to a single pc driveshaft, problem solved.

This was on quad cab a/t 4wd, long bed.

If you have a go pro, strap it to the frame rail and see for yourself. Lol

I will strap my go pro to my frame rail to see when i get back home. Ive been wanting to do a one piece driveshaft but I don't want to if I'm going to have to change it out when i put a lift on it. I do go off roaring alot.

I still haven't had a chance to strap the go pro under the truck. Aluminum driveshaft and rocks I dont know how well they would mix. But i think I have another idea of what it might be, my batteries sliding back and forth im running 2 odyessy 1850 i think they are they are about 50 pounds each. Im going to strap those saint banards down, my trays are shot for the tie down holds.

I had to tow a durmax that snapped a driveshaft off its rear end and i went to tie it up that thing was like lifting a coke can man they are light compared to the 2 piece steel ones that come in the 12 valve.
 
Bigger isn’t always better.

Still trying to convince the old lady that, but it works for most stuff.

Maybe there’s a socket in your frame rail
 
Guess you never considered a chromoly steel driveshaft

And good luck on noise being the batteries, a bungee cord could resolve that in a pinch.

I had the same experience. I was actually just doing some test runs down an old road before we were going to the strip the next day and it really went. After going through the OEM replacement in a couple months, I took the driveshaft to the place that did all our semi trucks (Drive Line Specialist LLC, 9100 Brighton Rd, Henderson, CO 80640). They usually only use Dana Spicer products, and what they gave me did not look like the stock one, but it's been six years and it's still good!
