6.7 oil leak. - Competition Diesel.Com

On my 6.7 there is a hole in the block right between the power steering pump and block that has big block Chevy fuel pump block off plate covering it with 2 bolts going through it. It's leaking oil and I'm curious what would normally go there.

I believe the ECM mounts on top of that.

Did you use the supplied gasket with the BBC plate? If so I'd take it off and use some good silicone. Have never had any luck running paper gaskets there.

Technically you were right. The ecm does go over part of the return plate
