The reason I ask is I never had the issues you talk about with my 160 pump? Mine pulls hard all way through to 3500 but I'm also clearing my smoke and in dire need of bigger injectors......... ..I'm waiting to find a set of used 435's or bigger...

I need to check my fuel heater. I have heard they can leak, and cause high RPM sputtering, I just have a hard time believing that is the problem. A pusher pump might help you out.
