Words cannot express my excitement!!!

I started a thread on TDR about 10 years ago, trying to show some interest. Pacbrake looked into it, but said it wasn't worth the r&d.

I thought the pacbrake engineers must be idiots.

The way they are actuating this, it should be able to be tuned for the best timing. I'm sure if they can't figure it out someone can.

I remember seeing a sales brochure for an engine brake from Jacobs that I thought applied to the 5.9 as well and go figure, I cannot find it now. I remember seeing the above release from pacbrake a while back. Based on their limited plots it looks better, but I'm with LReiff, I think the VG brake on my 6.7 is more than enough.

Looks like a big waste if money unless you can roll coal and have flip up mirrors. It's every rednecks dream.

But it makes my truck go BRAPBRAPBRAPBRAPBRAPBRAPBRAPBRAPBRAP when I roll up to a stop?!

The way they actuate this, it should generate decent braking horsepower if tuned correctly.
