24v Towing Twins!?

Ok so we've picked up a 99 quad cab dually auto.

Will have Goerend VB, TC, billet shafts, etc.

We will be grossing about 33k and I want a good tow-able setup with some snort

3.54 gears, 265/75/16 tires. A HX35/12cm wg'ed and HT3B w/26cm housing was recommended to me by a few.
Truck will have sticks, probably an Adrenaline, and other goodies.. Would like a fun truck to drive when empty but also have the manners to tow our new 44ft trailer.

Any input?

for quick spool and good cool for a tow rig, cant get much better or cheaper than a 35/3b set up.

might even consider putting a 14cm housing on the 35, the spool up will still be instant with sticks in there, and it will cool better.

I used to tow with 100hp sticks, edge comp on level 3, and HX35 with a 14cm housing and it was a quick spooling, reliable set-up that didnt get hot. but i was only towing about 7k lbs.

I would vote for my HX40/b2 combo.... with mach 7's and a drag comp for fueling you can tow heavy and still keep temps in check...

HTBG with a 13SS housing. Then stick a k31 for the big charger, or an s400.
You could use a piers 35 with a modified internal wastegate. Reason for the 13SS is it has a nice wastegate.

Hx 40/35 Hybrid with non-WG 14CM2 housing and external WG over a HT3b or S400.

That was the best setup for cooling and spooling that I had on my 99 Dually Tow rig. I used to gross between 32K and 36K almost daily. Crossed the scales over 40K more than a few times (bad bad bad don't try that one).

I ran quite a few sets of twins on that truck. That was the best for my situation.

How much power do you figure you were putting down while towing?

Was the truck a blast to drive empty with the boxes turned up too?
