my friend is makeing the switch from 7.3 to dodge cummins please give me your advice on witch engine is better and why please ? 03-04 or 04.5 + thanks

03 is the best and dont melt down on a regular basis

go with the 03-04 ecm it has one less injection event and is less likely to melt down the pistons.

has anyone had head problems with 03-04 valve seat comming out or is this not that common ?
