S488/96/1.32 *needs new comp wheel*

S488/96/1.32 .66ar race cover, hose outlet. Had some debris run through it from the secondary exploding and chewed up the compressor a bit. The comp cover has some junk caked on the inside but it should clean up fine, the bore looks good. Turbine looked fine, normal shaft play. Some surface rust. Also FWIW I was told it was a cast turbonetics wheel. Idk what it's worth so $750 shipped Or make offer. Thanks

Interested, can you verify that it's an 88 and measure it for us? Also, the compressor cover in the pic is a standard cover.

.66 ar cover is the original jd race cover. they don't all have to have a bell to be a RC

Secondary overspeed I believe. Here is a pic of the turbo when it was new. I'll measure it when I get home, I'm out of town till Tuesday. Click the image to open in full size.

Pretty sure its the only thing that can keep up with those larger wheels on an 88/96 frame and prevent surging.

That's ridiculous!! If only I wanted a bigger primary.

On edit: I'd run it just the way it is.

run it with the wheel the way it is? I guess it might be ok, I'd be scared about it being off balance.

Anyway, if one found just a new wheel or a matching s400 wheel and cover, it'd be a good turbo.

$650 obo
