Think this engine stand will hold a Cummins?

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...3359_200313359

Think it will work?

I like how they show a V6 on it, but say it's rated 1500lbs.

It will hold it. Question is how long? Find a welding shop or weld up your own out of some tube and plate. It will work much better and fit how high you want it.

the engine in the pictures on the website are of a 3 cylinder tractor engine. I hung a 7.3 ford on one thats beefier than that one and it died. thankfully i left the chain hoist hooked up so the engine didnt hit the floor. i would not trust it.
