FOR SALE: (The Grinch)
We have decided to sell our 1997 Dodge Ram pro street truck formerly known as The Grinch. This truck had set the standard for 4wd diesel racing for years and ran out front for most of its life. It was the 1st truck to the 9s and to the 8s. Chassis has been 5.41 and 145mph in the 1/8th with previous power plant. At this time the truck is turn key with a fresh power plant and that's how we would like to sell it. Turn key. Listed below is the basic info of truck and driveline. I will go into depth more on engine specs with serious buyers.

-Wheels are custom offset 5x5 pattern 3/4" centers Holeshot holestars 16x10 up front, 16x14 in the rear on M&H 30/14 slicks.
-Dual parachute kit
-Air Throttle valve on throttle cable
-AFCO shocks on all 4 corners and front and rear anti roll bars
-Engine catch can (aluminum)

I'm sure I am forgetting somethings. Please only serious enquiries only. PM for pricing. I may consider selling as a roller for the right deal but prefer turn key sale and will NOT part anything out. You can PM me or text/call me directly (859-466-7737) with serious interest. We hate to see this piece of history go but it deserves someone who has the ability to keep it in the pro street chase. Have you been able to keep the tranny/torque converter to live more than a couple of passes? Seth used a hand clutch why did you remove that?

We purchased the truck as a roller. Repowered it with my engine. We did not like the slow 60' and maintenance of the clutch nor was it offered to us in the sale. This enginge makes 500hp less (atleast) then Seth's did so we were not worried about hurting converters from power.

Bump. We've decided to sell as a roller. T case and drive shafts will stay w the truck no matter what. PPP air shifter, autometer gauges, seat and electric/hydraulic steering set up can be taken off. $28k w those items gone or $30k complete roller w Kinetik 1800 pro battery only 1 year old

Will sell roller for $26k and i keep the gauges and shifter. This would be an excellent chassis for 6.70 index. Throw your 750hp engine, transmission and intercooler set up in and go racing!

We offered it back to Seth as a roller, he really had no interest in racing anymore. I would love some one to buy it and enjoy it the way it should be enjoyed.

There is a bunch of the top trucks from past years who have the same feelings.

If it doesn't sell before the race season we are going to start running ODSS events with it. It will still stay forsale but I'm not going to just let it sit.

After how excited you all were when your ol lady bought it, I don't really understand why you're selling it?

And WTH does "wish someone would use it like it should be used" mean? Its out on the track racing again isn't it? Why isn't that good enough? Its claim to fame was crazy HP = running folks down on the back half, wasn't it? With things moving to the 1/8th mile, what's wrong if it can't do that back half quite like it used to? To me, as long as someone's enjoying racing with it, shouldn't that be all anyone would want from it? Or nah, "impressive back halfs are life"?

Financial reasons. We cant afford to own and operate two higher caliber trucks. It doesn't make much sense for it to just sit in the garage. Someone needs to enjoy it.
