What's the breaking point of the new 68RFE 6-speed trans? What are the weak points?







........I'm sure this trans will have one hell'va an internal domino effect. :doh:
 
I can't believe with all the "in the know" folks here .......all the "Ha ha, I know and you're stupid" reply's, that nobody has dropped any info.*bdh*

Your lucky you have good avators your forgiving. I know for sure they wont handle 600 hp other then that they are suppose to be good is all I have heard I guess time will tell.
 
at 600hp they start to slip pretty bad but pdi's 6.7 that is 618 is still on the stock tranny. it slips a little but im surprised how well its actually holding
 
We've been at 32k gross with ours and it is holding up fine. Just needs a serious kick in the ass power and mileage wise.
