G.M. Performance Parts is once again giving me support in drag racing and land speed racing with the Chevy Cruze Diesel . I raced under the G.M Performance parts banner for 4 years in my competition eliminator D/ED
Here is me at the NHRA world finals in Pomona in 2000

For those who are asking about the ECM, I thought I saw on Greg Fbook page that Dan's Diesel is doing the tuning.
Congrats Greg and awesome looking rail!

its fast , I have run it down the track in to different programs and it was fast both times. and yes it stalls close to 5000 but that is what it takes to get smoothly down the track.

The new CN block and billet head are winter project, I can make plenty of power for now.
the ECM is a factory ECM G.M. sent me a stack of them , and yes JohnBoy is tuning my car.
Dan and I are working together on several 2.6 programs and he has offered to help tune, but I have been working with JohnBoy for a long time.

Greg that first photo of the dragester how long ago was that taken?
It appears to be missing a few things to be (almost running).

The engine with complete dry sump and under driven cam driven twin CP3’s is on the engine stand at D&L while I worked on wiring and plumbing. It’s a 1 hour job to install or change motors in the car.
I my go on the dyno, one more time before we go down the track.
The car is completely wired and plumbed except 2 gauges that should show up today I have a new digital dash as well from RPM performance Data loggers that is being released in a month or so.

Sometimes it's not about what's better....it's about talking up what you were given. Call up Joe at Pro Torque...those guys have some cool stuff out nowadays.
Any experience I have with them on cars I work on are not sponsor deals...it's 100% out of pocket.

You also can not overlook that most sponsored parts have a level of tech support you never see as a consumer. Items that work OK can be fine tuned for a specific application to be top notch.
