you may not even need to have the inj reset. some run fine some dont. if you need them reworked you can call most pump shops and they can lower the pop press for you. idealy they would need you pump to match them perfectly but its not nessary.

Mine had a haze at stock press. I had the reset to 300BAR it killed the haze and seemed to pick up some power too.

Smokem told me what press to have them set at.

I have a set of schied lightning ones and was wondering if anybody knew how many holes and what size they are. I know 24v injectors ar bigger than 12v inj. My pump is 600ccs full fuel to 5800 rpms timing set at 25* to start with and will work our way to 30* or so. I wnt to turn 5200 down the track and was wondering what yoy guys think i will need for injectors? Tim

I was going to say 5000rpms might hurt a little.

Im not saying it is going to, i just hope to get somewhere close for the money i am spending. Im shooting high and hope to fall in expected range. I also got the head taken care of too with titanium springs keepers and retainers and billet pushrods. These 24v heads sure are expensive. And I forgot that i got my ATI damper in on friday. Tim

Call your favorite injetor shop and tell them what your doing. Ive heard timing and fuel quantity are the problems there.

24v at 305bar

12v at 260-280bar

Different shops like different settings. I "think" higher pop pressures will allow better atomization for improved torque down low, however will hinder performance up higher in the rpms (talking about sled pulling applications). So a ppumped 24V with injectors at 300 bar and twins may put down some sweet dyno numbers when hp is max around 2400 rpm for example, however the same truck would see a nice increase in hp at 4000 rpm on up using a lower pop pressure. Again this is just my opinion and could be totally incorrect (my disclaimer...)

Lighten 1 are 6x9 L2 are 6x12

I have mine set @ 325 witch is what Jon told me so I'm trying that now I may change later depends

I'm thinking about the same as u on the pop , I think with a smaller hole lower is better but when usen huge injectors though I think a little more pop is better I'v seen what more pop does to big ones and I done this myself , I raised pop from 300 to 325 and I was amazed it felt like I added 100 hp all the way through but that was on a VP so now all the trial and error is starting again

So lightning ones are too small. I was think somewhere in the 7x14 area. Terry told me what he thinks i should run but i was thinking about sending them out for lasering to save a little money but so far that aint working. I was wanting to have this new truck done for Schieds but im not sure if it will come together or not. BTW, the only reason i was asking about lightning 1s is thats what the truck had in it when i bought it. Tim

Has anyone compared some of the larger injectors. I'm running F1 Mach 7's and haven't tried many others. I bought a set of Buddah Powers and was told they wouldn't make as much power as the 7's, just smoke. Anyone drag racing with something other than F1's or DDP's.

I've got a set of DDP 62L/min injectors sitting on the shelf thats gonna go in once I get the twins on. Hopefully they are as quality as the DDP4's I'm currently running. A friend ran them on his VP truck, definitely moves some fuel.
