Best place to buy shop lights?

Looking to buy 9 - T8 or T5 6 lamp fixtures for my 36x56x14 buidling. Not dead set on T5 or T8, but have read that T8 should be sufficient for what I'm looking for.

Anyone have a location of where to buy them with bulbs for a good price?

Thanks!

Just search Amazon.
Rule of thumb 6 T8 or 4 T5HO are similar lighting output. I would use T8's unless you are 15 feet or higher.

I used 8 of the 6 lamp T8 fixtures in my 40x32 garage at $95 each (looks like the price is higher now though)

http://www.primelights.com/6-Lamp-T8...HB7-W6-T81.htm

5000k 32W bulbs were around $3.50 each with shipping. Couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

Craigslist. Somebody always has a pile of them. No way I would pay $100 per fixture.

If you get T5's, be sure they have the high temp ballasts in them. I keep replacing mine as they go out.

I haven't seen many of the (6)t8 or 4(T5HO) fixtures on craigslist.

I just bought a dozen 4 bulb t5 fixtures 2 months ago and bulbs on amazon. 77 a piece for fixtures and i think it was 65 bucks per case for a case of 25 bulbs. Couldnt beat it. It makes my 5000sq light up like the apocalypse. Except looking like a 5400k pure white hid

T12? 2Lamp magnetic ballast? Voltage? if those are 4 lamp t8 that is a pretty good deal, if 2 lamp, you have added wire, labor, boxes etc, deal starts to diminish.

we'll see if I regret this choice...I ended up getting 6 lamp, T5 - 6500k bulbs. Price was $110 each shipped w/ bulbs and ballasts. T8's would have been $17 cheaper. I believe they came with a 5 year warranty as well. Purchased through Cors Lighting in Illinois.

A friend of mine has the same 6500k T5's in his garage and it's awesome, definitely won't be dark in here. haha

Thou shalt not be disappointed in that choice. Don't look up without shades.

If you do T5-HO's, you had better mount them 12-15 feet above the ground. They won't disperse good if you don't. I have three 4-bulb T5HO's in my 45'x45' shop mounted at 15 ft. They work good but I need more like 6 of them.

Yes sire 4 lamp T5HO if about 15 feet, 6 lamp T8 if below.
