What's the difference??

Anyone know the difference between the Cali 235 and the not-Cali 250? Is it just the ECM or something different? I just jumped to a 04 Cali Cummins SO....

ECM calibration. Find an older Smarty that hasnt been updated for atleast 2 years and load it on any power level, then load it back to stock, you will then be at 305hp.

Interesting. Where does the 235/250 file from the ECM go? And how does a 305 file get on the ECM if you return to stock?

Ask Marco. All I know is that I done it to a 250 truck last week and it made a noticeable difference.

Smarty has a version of the stock file, when you put return to stock Smarty loads it's version of the stock tune in (which is the 305hp version), not the file that came out of the ECM.

See, this is why I love this place. I talked to a guy at a Dodge performance shop, and he told me there were a lot of internal motor diffs too. Had me thinking that I was up a creek......

My wife said show them a holes on compd my arse so they can kiss it. So I did.

But on hard parts. Tell that guy to match P/N's from 235/250's to 305's and stick it.

Her words. Not mine. She checks up on us. I think we are all a fine sophisticated bunch.
