Bad ball joints causing a speed sensor/abs cel ?

I have a spare wheel speed sensor but the upper ball joint is bad. The cel was for the passenger side and that side also has a bad upper joint. I changed the unit bearing 2 years ago and wheel speed sensor.

Found a nick in the speed sensor wire, bit the bullet and did the ball joints.

Normally its a worn out wheel bearing that changes the relation from the sensor.
