95 5 speed swap cruise control help

I swapped my 95 3500 to a 5 speed and ive been looking for info on how I can make the cruise control work again I currently have the netural safety wires connected together to make it start but have read you have to do something with them to make it work again and I haven't found much info of what actually has to be done, any help is appreciated.
