Intercooler Boots

I've searched and I've read and can't find a definite answer on what inter-cooler boots can hold 100psi on a DD truck. Even it seems the best names people have destroyed. Do they make boots that can hold daily abuse in the 80-100 psi range or am i asking for something that doesn't exist?

Had a peak lower boot blow today and take the lower radiator hose off with it I'd prefer for that to not happen again.

Give mishimoto boots a try, lifetime warranty.
V-bands are popular remedy too.

Ya I was told to just go water to air and v bands. I like to keep things stockish/simple. I see a set source sells they claim to rate at 300 psi and 500* continuous. I honestly don't mind to much if the boots have a warranty because if I pop one in a short period of time I wont reuse another of the same brand. Will take alook at the mishimotos though.

Have you tried the Mr. Bob's 5-ply racing boots? He promised me he'd make a 6 ply setup if anyone could destroy one of his 5 ply boots....which he didn't make till a few years back when they found the limits of the 4 ply boots.

Which boots are you trying to use (location) im guessing for a 2nd gen? We gave up on all the boot kits years ago seemed like we destroyed everything PDR, Peak, Vulcan, Mr. Bob etc. If you can modify your piping and run straight connections is the best solution. Gates hase some large hose that orielly's sells I cant remember if this part number is for 24864, or just go down to your local Mac truck shop and shop thru all there radiator hose stuff pretty heavy duty stuff as well.

I bought source boots last year. Dont have a lot of run time on them unfortunately. They have held 80-83psi so far.

source boots are made of nomex kevlar so they take the heat and pressure much better. i destroyed a set of peak and bd boots, witch i believe are made of polyester. for the 3'' straight boots I've always ran tuck radiator hose. the problem im having now is keeping the 45* boots on.

I've been running BD boots since '07. Never wrecked on yet, and have only pushed them off twice, both due to clamps not being tightened properly. 80+ psi in the daily driver. 100+ in the former toy.
