I dont run valve seals on mine. I think that's more of a first crank of the day smoke.
I want all the lube my exhaust valves can get.

I ended up with 2 hood stacke, 2 cover vents and one in the top of my afc housing... new motor and I think unhappy rings.... pushes 3/4 of a quart at the end of a run...
