Angry 6.0 unknown cause

I just acquired a 2005 6.0 F250 truck that was not running right so my scan tool pointed to number #7 cylinder. After removal of the head, I discover one cracked piston, the truck still runs but has no power nor does it have any kind of knock. what would cause this to happen? im think gasoline was introduced at some point but I want to get everyone else's opinion. I've attached picture

Could be a number of things. Most likely injector failure or excessive cylinder temp

a cracked piston wouldn't necessarily cause a knock. It may cause a decrease in power but not "no" power. I would bet the injectors are tired but would require more in depth diagnosis to go from here.

Id also think injector stuck open or cracked tip maybe from water in the fuel or poor quaity. Maybe poor fuel filter maintenance
