So I am just about done with my engine and about ready to start this sucker up. When I went to prime the oil system with a spare pump I noticed oil does not “spill” into the timing case from the ppump with anywhere near as much volume as the power steering pump, does that sound normal? I installed new feed lines and checked/cleaned all the fittings so I know there is no blockage, is the ppump oil feed just restricted inside the actual pump? Oil trickles from the ppump while it’s damn near pouring out of the ps pump. I’d appreciate any input
