BTW, when you start in on the engine mods, I can work with you on getting a turbo setup to work. Depending on how your going to use this truck I don't think the 700hp goal is going to happen without going to a set of flowed nozzles and then the aluminum pistons aren't going to like their life for very long.

Well it's that time, should have the engine on the stand in the next couple days and tore apart

Just ordered the 625hp cylinder packs for my 06 so I can get it back together in the next couple of days then full attention will be towards the project

Oh how did I miss this... I love this! I want a 359 with at least 280" and a 36" bunk. I'd take an early 379 with the same specs as well.

I love the build! Please keep it updated!

Unfortunately nothing to update, maybe some minor stuff but still trying to get the interior out to get it to the paint shop. Lost a lot of production time with ice storm and holidays in December, so been playing catch up in January. Still have a late march early April completion goal so I better get to moving lol

Great project I just finished mine all up. 2000 379 275 wb and a 80 ton Tulsa on the back. There always better built when you do it yourself. Click the image to open in full size.

That was my thinking, when its done it will be better than factory and shouldnt have to worry about it for a long long time down the road

The 625's are 17:1, I recommend cutting them and lowering it to 16:1. Cat makes a factory 16:1 cyl pack but they're hard to find. I just picked mine up last week and they were the only 6 in the country.

Too late lol, been back up for a few months now seems good so far. Added 625hp injectors just to see if there would be a difference, runs good

It is, we are ordering some replacement panel kits for part of the hood and sleeper, and a big hole kit for the cab and sleeper, making sure all the hood hinges and bushings are right so we don't damage anything after paint due to alignment issues etc.
