Me and a buddy pulled his motor apart to do head studs and deletes. Took the heads to local shop to get checked out, and both are cracked any ideas on where to get some cheap. Or does anyone know somewhere that does exchanges.

I had to buy mine from Ford, I got hooked up with a discount for about $900+

That was for one head

You need good cores to "Exchange."

Ford took my cracked head, that was still considered "good"

Where can someone take heads to have them looked over to verify condition? Machine shop?

Yeah machine shops will do it. They will atleast flux test them for cracks and such. If you got a pretty highspeed machine shop they can, do whatever you want to them. New seats, bigger valves, new guides.. etc etc.
