I can tell you Im over 525hp probably closer to 600hp and as soon as I hit a dyno I will show you.I know lube owners over 6 and redneck6.0 hit 729 with a stock block..Its not a pissing contest thread its wondering if money was no object.
I just talk to a guy last night on the phone, who will remain nameless, that is building a 6.0l motor(rods, piston, ect). He wants to hit some big numbers.
These numbers are coming its going to take time. The motor has only been out since laste 2003.

729... remember when Jerry Glanville ask the ref if he knew what NFL stood for? So what you're saying is the last time you dyno'd it made 418hp so you rounded it up to 425hp? You've added another gerbil and now believe it will be at 600hp?

I don't know what kind of power I am making but I have not been beat by a Cummins yet in a truck pull. There was a D-max at the last two pulls who dynoed 507 h.p. and I have beat him by over 100+ft.

The 729 was at the DieselPower event....
Duche1f..Im sorry you are having a hard time understanding this thread...I mean just because you are waiting for the red paint to dry on your calipars and thinking you want to bash us ford guys were are looking for advice. I think you would be better off trying to fab this fan shroud you say you need to finish before truckfest..Instead of bashing us ford guys, why dont you go out and fab that fan shroud...We are hear discussing what things to build in "OUR FORDS" Im sure there will be some big number Fords there to put this to bed.
Good luck with the dodge duche1m..Hope its done it time..We like to see it hit 425+

I never fished over here because I didn't believe the fishing would be worth a hoot. I was wrong lol.
I didn't run Robbie off... he's a busy bee these days trying to get his 6.0 ready for Truckfest.

1000 hp cummins is easy to do. 1000 hp 6.0 is more challenging. If someone is willing to take that challenge, then i say go for it. Like said before, i would rather have my 400 hp ford than a 1000 hp dodge, or 1000 hp anything for that matter. IF i decide to do more, then 500 hp will be my max. After that i don't care what you have, something is going to take a **** eventually. So wy don't you take all that crap you said and take it elsewhere. Don't bash someone for trying something. You talk alot of crap and that is all it is CRAP!

Haven't any of you read Dukey's sig.
"Arguing with duke1n is like mud wrestling with a pig. Sooner or later you come to realize that the pig is enjoying it!"
Dukey, you suck. So I say, go get'em boys.

While you are correct in stating that if you have a Ferd and exceed 500hp something is going to a ****, that would not be the case if you owned a real motor. My mighty Cummings long long ago surpassed the 500hp insurmountable Ferd barrier and it didn't even need nitrous to do so. Regarding crap... my Dodge eats Chebies and craps Ferds.

I know Pete... Now I feel bad.
I'm so sorry kiddies for invading this cozy little Ferd nest like a snake in the grass.
Carry on

I should buy this.
http://www.qcsa.com/index.php?fuseac...carid=2159152#
Then swap bodies, rims and tires. Then I am left with my rolling chassis and slightly dented body as a pulling truck. I can dry sump it and put some really big injectors in the motor. I then can call BBUNTING and say lets make some crazy boost and see what happens. 800 h.p. fuel only here we come.
All I need is a sponsor or money donor. Any of you want to buy a stock Harley Truck, with a manual tranny, frame my be slightly tweeked and a hole in the bed from a stack, but the harley mat will cover the hole so you won't be able to see it.
