Goerend trans parts

After a TC and a VB, how different should the truck drive?
Are there any weird speeds that the trans doesn't like etc..
Acceleration??
Towing??
I'm finally about to dump some cash on the trans.

It depends a lot on how much power you have and how bad the stock transmission parts were.

A tighter torque converter might slow down a truck with stock power levels. It puts too much load on the engine and bogs it down. But it will drastically speed up a truck that was driving through the stall on the old converter.

If the converter is really tight, a hard shifting valve body might bog down the engine between shifts. It might chirp the tires, but I don't think that Goerend's likes the really firm valve bodies.

If you're running at least a little bit of power over stock you should be totally happy with it.

My converter and valve body dropped my trans temperatures quite a bit. I swear that my valve body dropped temperatures 20-30 degrees, but I don't think that's entirely possible.

First of all when it shifts the rpms will actully drop instead of staying at a high rpm though out shifts it will have a much lower stall in it. (depending on the TC)
